State and Federal Legislative Advocacy Services

The City of Huntington Beach, California is seeking state and federal legislative advocacy services to support the city council's policies and priorities. The contractor must maintain regular communication by providing weekly and monthly reports on the status of legislation, directing all communication to the designated contract manager, and providing regular updates on the state and national political landscapes. The agency requires the contractor to assist in establishing relations between city officials and legislative persons, including key committee chairs and policymakers. Additionally, the representative must advocate on the city's behalf by representing the city's voice in the capitol and testifying at hearings before legislative and regulatory committees. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore entities within the United States, and the performance of the work must be conducted onsite.
