Legal Process Services

The San Diego County Department of Child Support Services is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive civil and legal process services that meet all legal requirements. The agency needs to solve the problem of timely and legally compliant delivery of critical court documents to individuals. The scope of work covers the personal service of Summons and Complaints, Summons and Petitions, Orders to Show Cause in Regards to Contempt, and Registrations of Foreign Support Orders. Additionally, the selected vendor must serve Subpoenas, Judgment Debtor Exams, Judgments, Court Orders after Hearing, Income Withholding Orders, Court Orders to Appear for Financial Evaluation, Notices of Hearing, Petitions for Order of Payment of Costs, and all other documents requiring service of process. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all contracted work to occur onsite in San Diego, California. The contract term spans a period of one year. The agency is looking for budget proposals from interested parties to determine the cost of these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than May 28, 2026. A pre-bid meeting will take place on May 26, 2026, to address initial inquiries and project details.
