Outside Counsel Litigation Services

A government authority located in New York is seeking outside counsel litigation services to handle pre-litigation and litigation matters. The agency needs legal representation to address issues involving lease enforcement, property management, bankruptcy, insurance, collections, and other business and real estate matters. This legal support will help the agency resolve landlord-tenant disputes and commercial litigation challenges. The scope of work requires the selected legal counsel to investigate pre-litigation matters and draft a variety of litigation-related documents. These documents include summonses, complaints, affidavits, briefs, court submissions, stipulations, settlements, and ancillary agreements. The agency also requires the preparation of commercial litigation agreements, rent demands, non-payment and holdover petitions, and other paperwork associated with lease administration and property management. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit proposals for this opportunity. The agency expects the selected counsel to perform all legal work offsite. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 1, 2026, and the agency is currently seeking budget proposals to determine the cost of these services.
