The Regional Transit Authority in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a vendor to perform state-level government relations and legislative services. The agency needs to coordinate communication with the state legislative delegation, relevant committees, and state agencies. This initiative aims to keep state legislators and committees informed about the agency's new projects, initiatives, and progress toward statewide transportation objectives. The scope of work covers monitoring and reporting on legislative and regulatory developments, including transportation reform measures and budget updates. The selected vendor must track and analyze proposed and enacted legislation impacting public transit, infrastructure funding, and regional mobility. Additionally, the agency requires day-to-day consultation, representation, timely updates, strategic recommendations, and the development of public-private partnerships to enhance transit service delivery and innovation. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite.
