The McAllen Transit Authority in Texas is seeking a qualified legal services provider to support its board of directors, chief executive officer, and authorized board staff. The agency requires a legal partner to assist in the preparation and review of all general legal documents related to the conduct of agency business affairs. Additionally, the selected provider will perform legal research, review and provide direction on board meeting agendas, and attend board meetings to offer general legal counsel. The scope of work also includes providing legal guidance regarding litigation, administrative proceedings, claims, disputes, and other legal matters as they arise. The agency is contracting these services for a one-year period, and the selected provider will perform all work offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept digital submissions via email or through their online portal. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted to the agency no later than June 5, 2026.
