Violence Prevention and Restorative Practices Services

The Rochester City School District in Rochester, New York, is seeking a qualified vendor to implement a comprehensive School Violence Prevention program in four stand-alone middle schools. This initiative is funded by the agency's Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention Grant. The agency aims to address and mitigate school and community violence by establishing proactive, restorative, and supportive interventions within these educational environments. The scope of work requires the delivery of proactive violence prevention strategies, including conflict resolution, peer mediation, restorative practices, and anti-violence education. The selected provider must also deliver crisis response interventions for students identified as being at higher risk. Additionally, the project covers trauma-informed support for students affected by community violence and wrap-around services that connect the school, home, and broader community.
