Decommission of Coley Creek Service

The City of Alexander City, Alabama, is seeking a vendor to decommission the Coley Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The municipality requires comprehensive engineering application development services, alongside design, surveying, and inspection services to complete the decommissioning process. This project aims to safely and effectively take the wastewater facility out of service while meeting all regulatory and environmental standards. The scope of work covers the preparation of an engineering report and environmental information document, as well as field and surveying services. The selected vendor must also produce design and construction documents, secure necessary permits and easements, provide construction observation, and manage the final project closeout. Performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested bidders. All questions regarding this procurement must be submitted to the government authority no later than June 29, 2026.
