Community-Rooted Opioid Response Grant Services

The Denver, Colorado government authority is seeking a vendor to provide community-rooted opioid response grant services. The agency aims to reduce overdose risks and foster trust through peer-led, culturally responsive outreach and engagement targeting high-risk individuals. The project addresses the need for community-based, evidence-informed prevention, including reduced social and physical access to opioids, stigma reduction, and education or intervention services for families, youth, and adolescents. The scope of work requires delivering overdose prevention strategies such as naloxone training, fentanyl test strips, and overdose education to individuals at the greatest risk. The selected provider must navigate and connect individuals to treatment, recovery, and supportive services, including family and community-based supports. Additionally, the agency requires community outreach for harm reduction referrals, treatment, and healthcare, alongside post-overdose follow-up services to prevent future overdoses. Eligibility is restricted to onshore United States organizations. The agency allows the performance of all work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
