Public Health Community Leadership Sector Development Service

The New York government authority is seeking contractors to provide public health community leadership sector development services. The agency needs to establish and lead Community Emergency Networks to enhance the state's ability to mitigate the public health impacts of emergencies. The project aims to solve the problem of fragmented local responses by focusing on hyperlocal preparedness and response planning within specific communities. The scope of work requires contractors to coordinate community-based service providers, including nonprofits, businesses, congregations, clinics, associations, and individual leaders, during all phases of emergency management. Contractors must expand the emergency preparedness capabilities of their network and integrate these efforts into the agency's information sharing, operations, programs, and planning. Additionally, the selected partners will collaborate with and advise the agency on supporting hyperlocal preparedness initiatives. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of the work to take place offsite.
