Traffic Study Services

The City of New Philadelphia, Ohio, is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct a comprehensive traffic study. The study must examine the multimodal traffic operations and safety impacts of new residential and commercial developments in the downtown area. This project addresses the upcoming Joy Development Site, which will introduce several hundred housing units and new commercial retail space to the corridor. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to analyze existing traffic patterns and operations in the affected area. The study must forecast future traffic levels for vehicular traffic, walking, and biking. Additionally, the agency requires recommendations to improve traffic operations along the corridor and safety measures within and between all modes of travel. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency permits the performance of all contracted work to occur offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed specific evaluation criteria or key dates in the initial request.
