Anger Management Program Services

The government authority in Kent, Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide anger management programming for sentenced felony offenders and individuals with delayed or deferred felony dispositions. The agency aims to reduce aggressive and impulsive behavior, improve emotional regulation and interpersonal skills, increase participant accountability, and support long-term behavioral change and successful community supervision outcomes. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite. The requested scope of work requires the utilization of a structured, evidence-based or evidence-informed anger management curriculum designed specifically for justice-involved men and women. This curriculum must address the beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and emotional responses associated with anger, aggression, impulsivity, and conflict. The programming must also incorporate strategies that promote personal accountability, emotional regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, stress management, and the development of prosocial coping skills. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
