Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan and Facilities Conditions Assessment Services

The City of Dixon, California is seeking a qualified consultant to perform a comprehensive Americans with Disabilities Act self-evaluation and transition plan, alongside a facilities conditions assessment. The agency needs to identify existing obstacles that limit accessibility within its public right-of-way and establish a clear schedule for achieving full compliance. This project will help the City ensure that all municipal programs, services, activities, facilities, and public infrastructure comply with federal accessibility requirements. The scope of work requires the selected consultant to conduct field inspections of City-owned facilities and public infrastructure. Based on these field findings and a thorough document review, the consultant must prepare a new ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. Additionally, the agency requires the development of procedures, training materials, and implementation tools to support ongoing compliance, as well as the identification of the specific official responsible for implementing the plan. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the consultant to perform the required work offsite.
