Elevator Maintenance and Inspection Services

The City of Live Oak, Texas, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive elevator maintenance and inspection services. The agency requires certified or licensed technicians, labor, supervision, materials, replacement parts, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, tools, equipment, and documentation to ensure the safe and reliable operation of its vertical transportation equipment. This initiative aims to address the ongoing need for annual inspections, required safety testing, monthly full-service preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, callback services, and repairs. The scope of work covers hydraulic elevators, traction elevators, machine-room-less elevators, limited-use or limited-application elevators, wheelchair lifts, platform lifts, and all associated control, safety, signaling, door, hoistway, pit, machine room, control room, cab, traction, suspension, and auxiliary equipment. The selected contractor must regularly and systematically examine, adjust, clean, lubricate, test, repair, and replace covered components as required. Additionally, the work includes verifying proper elevator startup, run, leveling, door operation, stopping, signaling, and passenger safety functions, while checking for abnormal noise, vibration, heat, odor, fluid leakage, loose components, worn parts, corrosion, water intrusion, pest intrusion, overheating, electrical arcing, control faults, and code or safety issues. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite, and bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services, and the resulting contract period will be for one year.
