Engineered Wood Fiber Service

The City of Flint, Michigan, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide engineered wood fiber service for its municipal parks. The agency needs to maintain twenty designated parks where playgrounds have been installed with engineered wood fiber as the protective surfacing. This service will ensure the playground areas remain safe, compliant, and properly cushioned for public use. The selected contractor must deliver and install the engineered wood fiber at the specified park locations. The agency requires the contractor to provide a Certificate of Testing for the engineered wood fiber to verify its safety and quality standards. Additionally, the contractor must schedule all installations at least one week in advance and perform complete cleanup of the staged locations after work is completed. Participation is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 10, 2026.
