Transportable Emergency Housing Units Service

The City of Wilmington, North Carolina, is seeking a vendor to provide transportable emergency housing units and associated support services. The agency needs these deployable housing solutions to support individuals, families, and response personnel who are displaced or affected by natural disasters, emergencies, or other catastrophic incidents. The requested solutions must include secure, self-contained living structures such as tents, trailers, pallet homes, and recreational vehicles capable of operating in austere or disrupted environments. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to manage and describe their available inventory, deployment timelines, transportation capabilities, and setup requirements. The agency also requires the vendor to detail their staffing support, operational limitations, and maximum surge capacity for emergency deployments. Performance of all contracted work will take place offsite from the vendor's own locations. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget and pricing structure for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 9, 2026.
