Pigging Services

A government authority located in Minnesota is seeking a contractor to provide pigging services to remove flow restrictions from low spots in its pipeline. The selected contractor must supply all required tools, fittings, connections, hoses, and equipment, along with a project manager, site supervisor, technicians, vehicles, and a support equipment trailer. The contractor must notify the operations and building services managers prior to commencing any on-site operations. The scope of work requires the contractor to make ready all equipment, tools, and personnel at their own facility before mobilizing them to the project location. The contractor must use an array of pigs to clean a pre-specified length of pipeline at a predetermined rate while checking samples in accordance with an approved procedure. The contractor is also required to monitor discharge and intermediate concentrations throughout the cleaning process. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The authority is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget estimate. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 5, 2026.
