The Township of Ocean in New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive energy consulting services to assist the local government authority. The agency needs strategic planning for energy procurement and efficiency evaluation, alongside consulting on electric and natural gas deregulation. To optimize its operations, the agency requires detailed energy usage analysis and ongoing guidance regarding legislative and regulatory updates. The scope of work covers a building systems analysis, which includes surveying the mechanical and electrical systems of energy-intensive facilities to establish baseline energy usage and operational patterns. The selected vendor will perform audits relative to the smartstart building program and clean energy program, recommend energy improvements, and handle the design, bidding, and oversight of system upgrades. Additionally, the agency requires alternative energy consulting to research, develop, and recommend alternative energy options for future facilities. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget for this initiative, and the selected vendor will perform the work offsite. The contract period will run for a duration of one year.
