Derelict Property Study Update Service

The Wayne County government authority located in Lyons, New York is seeking a vendor to update its existing derelict property study. The agency needs to identify, assess, and obtain actionable recommendations for managing and redeveloping derelict properties within the county. This updated comprehensive analysis will assist the county in making informed decisions regarding these properties. The scope of work requires reviewing and updating the inventory of derelict properties, as well as collecting and analyzing data on property ownership, zoning, and land use. The selected partner must conduct public meetings and workshops to gather input from residents and stakeholders, while also engaging with local government officials, community organizations, and property owners. Additionally, the project covers evaluating market conditions, identifying funding sources and financial incentives, reviewing relevant regulations, identifying regulatory barriers, proposing policy changes, and creating detailed maps, charts, and visual aids. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be completed offsite. Bidders may submit their proposals digitally via email or through an online portal. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project.
