Animal Sheltering and Care Services

The Taos County government authority in New Mexico is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive animal sheltering and care services. The agency needs a provider to house and care for all non-feral cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens collected from the unincorporated areas of the county. This service will help the agency manage and care for the local stray and surrendered animal population. The scope of work requires the selected provider to perform all sheltering and care services offsite at the vendor's own facility. Bidders must operate as onshore organizations based entirely within the United States to be eligible for this contract. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for these services. Interested parties must submit all questions regarding this procurement no later than June 5, 2026. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the submissions received from qualified onshore bidders.
