The Monroe County School District in Key West, Florida is seeking a professional services vendor for a standby contract to provide Federal Emergency Management Agency public assistance consulting services. The agency needs general FEMA public assistance grant management advice and assistance to navigate the recovery process effectively. The selected vendor will assist with the development and ongoing activities of a team of school district employees to manage the FEMA public assistance process. The scope of work covers assistance with the preparation of correspondence to state and federal agencies, as well as advice regarding the eligibility of expenses. The agency requires support in meeting deadlines imposed by FEMA and the state for documentation, appeals, and completion of work. Additionally, the vendor must review current school district policies and assist with the development and documentation of new policies to ensure compliance with FEMA and state requirements. The project also includes assistance with hazard mitigation proposals, alternate projects, and improved projects to protect the school district's interests. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of all contracted work to occur offsite. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders rather than providing a pre-determined budget limit. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 23, 2026.
