Veteran’s Support Utilization Services

The City of Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a vendor to manage and execute a transitional housing program specifically tailored to military veterans. The agency needs a partner to operate a city-owned facility in a manner that ensures safety, programmatic efficacy, and strong neighborhood relations. To support the residents, the selected operator must provide on-site or coordinated wrap-around case management services, including mental health support, employment assistance, benefits navigation, and substance abuse counseling. The scope of work requires the operator to handle day-to-day operational maintenance, utility costs, and programmatic overhead for the city-owned property. The operator must also ensure the facility continuously adheres to all municipal housing and building codes. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year for these services, and all performance of the work must occur on-site at the Providence facility. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and financial structure of the agreement. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 5, 2026.
