Utility Civil Work and Permitting Professional Services

The City of Colton, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide utility civil work and permitting professional services. The city requires these services to support its utility infrastructure through a variety of civil engineering and construction tasks. The selected contractor will address ongoing municipal utility needs under a one-year contract. The scope of work covers trenching, structure setting, vault repairs, staking, conduit installations on bridge crossings, and vault grade adjustments. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, safety signage, and insurance coverage, including professional liability and workers’ compensation with the city named as an additional insured. The performing crew must contact the city inspector prior to backfilling any completed work, and the contractor must possess directional boring experience or the ability to subcontract for it.
