ADA Transition Plan Service

Brunswick County, located in Bolivia, North Carolina, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) transition plan services. The county needs to evaluate its programs, services, activities, and physical assets to identify barriers to accessibility and develop a prioritized, actionable plan for achieving and maintaining compliance. This initiative aims to solve accessibility gaps through a systematic, data-driven approach that includes field assessments, stakeholder engagement, regulatory analysis, and implementation planning. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to conduct a formal ADA self-evaluation of all county services, programs, and activities. The vendor must review policies, procedures, and practices for ADA compliance, perform facility and site assessments, and identify and prioritize existing barriers. Additionally, the project covers public engagement, stakeholder input, mechanisms for public comment, and the delivery of final reports. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The county allows the performance of the work to be conducted either onsite or offsite. Regarding budget, the county is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of the project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 05, 2026.
