Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Consulting Services

The Ingham County government authority located in Mason, Michigan is seeking professional consulting services to update its hazard mitigation plan. The agency needs to update its hazard analysis, obtain input from local communities and school districts, and identify goals and objectives based on the updated analysis. The selected partner will suggest and evaluate strategies to achieve these mitigation goals, identify specific action steps, and compile all information into a draft updated plan for review. The scope of work requires the consultant to prepare a final updated plan that meets all State and Federal requirements. The agency expects the consultant to present the approved plan to local cities, villages, and townships, and to ensure local adoption of the plan. The project covers developing a project approach plan with a schedule of interim deliverables, as well as requesting, collecting, analyzing, and creating mitigation goals and strategies for each city, village, township, and school agency. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted onsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
