The Community Development Authority in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a vendor to provide economic development services. The agency needs to support projects eligible for funding under the Community Development Block Grant program that serve microenterprises and low- to moderate-income business owners. The selected project must benefit low- and moderate-income persons, aid in preventing or eliminating slums or blight, or meet an urgent need for which other resources are unavailable. The scope of work requires providing technical assistance to public or nonprofit entities to increase their capacity for neighborhood revitalization or economic development activities. The agency also requires technical assistance, advice, and business services for owners and developers of microenterprises. Additionally, the project covers general support services for these business owners, including peer support programs, counseling, child care, and transportation. Bidders must be organizations located within the United States, as the agency requires onshore entities for this contract. The agency expects the selected vendor to perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit their own budget proposals for this opportunity, as the agency has not disclosed a pre-determined budget.
