Community-Based Services

The Ministry of Children and Family Development is requesting information from interested community-based organizations to inform a potential opportunity to deliver expanded services for children and youth with support needs. These services play a critical role in supporting children’s development, participation in home, school, and community life, and in strengthening family well-being. The agency is seeking to solve the problem of limited access to developmental and family support services by gathering information to shape future programming. The requested scope of work covers seven key service areas for children and youth. These areas include behavioural therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech-language therapy. The scope also encompasses behaviour supports, mental health supports, and navigation and family supports. Eligibility is restricted to Canadian organizations operating onshore. The agency requires the performance of the work to take place offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to understand the cost structure.
