The Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada, requires itinerant and classroom teachers for deaf and hard of hearing students throughout the district. The agency is seeking qualified educators to support these students across various schools for the duration of a full school year. This initiative aims to ensure that deaf and hard of hearing students receive specialized educational support, assessments, and individualized instruction to facilitate their academic success. The scope of work requires teachers to conduct, monitor, and review student assessments while supporting ongoing data collection. Selected personnel must prepare for and participate in Individualized Education Program activities, facilitate and attend meetings, and participate in professional development trainings as directed by the agency. Additionally, the agency requires providers to facilitate employee interviews and background investigations for all proposed staff. Eligible bidders must be organizations based in the United States, as the agency restricts participation to onshore entities. The agency will interview and approve all teachers before they can begin performing services under the contract. While the performance of the work may occur either onsite or offsite depending on district needs, the teachers must be available to serve the district for the entire school year. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services. The resulting contract will cover a performance period of one year.
