Two-Way Radios and Associated Rental Service

The Rockland County Solid Waste Management Authority, located in Pomona, New York, is seeking a contractor to provide two-way radios and an associated rental service. The agency requires a fully operational communications system to support approximately one hundred twenty units across a wide-area UHF digital trunking service. This system must utilize a central control channel architecture, provide automatic repeater assignment, support RSSI-based roaming between sites, and provide a minimum of six talk groups. The requested scope of work covers the furnishing, installation, programming, maintenance, repair, and support of all rented equipment. This equipment includes mobile radios, portable radios, accessories, associated components, and Team Connect Accessibility. The rental agreement must also encompass unlimited airtime, service access, system management, support, and equipment removal services. Bidders must perform all work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is establishing a contract period of four years for these services.
