Asbestos Abatement Services

The Morris County government authority in Morristown, New Jersey is seeking a contractor to provide on-call and as-needed environmental abatement services. The agency needs to solve the problem of managing hazardous materials by securing ongoing support for asbestos abatement, transportation, and disposal. The scope of work covers standard scheduled projects as well as rapid emergency response services to secure county facilities. For emergency situations, the Buildings and Grounds department will contact the contractor to explain the immediate needs of the county. The agency requires the contractor to arrive on site and commence services within four hours of the initial call for standard emergencies, or within one-half hour for critical situations with a service person at the job site within one hour thereafter. All performance of the work will take place offsite at designated county locations. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The buyer is looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these on-call services. Bidders must submit all clarification questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 10, 2026.
