The McLean County government authority in Bloomington, Illinois is seeking an independent energy broker and consultant of record to provide advisory, procurement, and ongoing management services for its electricity and natural gas supply. The agency needs to solve the challenge of efficiently procuring and managing energy resources across all county-owned and operated facilities. To address this, the selected partner will develop and implement competitive procurement strategies, provide ongoing market intelligence, deliver risk management services, and maintain comprehensive records of all county energy accounts. The scope of work requires the provider to deliver usage analysis and reporting at agreed-upon intervals. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted onsite. To be eligible for evaluation, bidding organizations must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and financial structure of the contract.
