Real Estate Consultant Service

The San Diego County Employees Retirement Association is seeking an independent real estate consultant to assist with the management of its institutional real estate investment program. The agency requires a partner with extensive real estate consulting experience, specifically within the institutional and public pension fund sectors. This consultant will help the agency make informed investment and portfolio management decisions by providing timely transaction reviews and actionable recommendations. The scope of work includes overseeing real estate investment managers in conjunction with agency staff through periodic reviews, interviews, and on-site visits. The selected consultant must also identify, analyze, and recommend new real estate investment opportunities for the agency's consideration. All performance of the contracted work will occur offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services, as no set budget is pre-determined. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 3, 2026.
