The government authority in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide general environmental services. The agency requires materials, labor, and equipment to address underground storage tank removals, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, building demolition, and the decontamination of equipment, tanks, sumps, or drains. Additional needs include pumping contaminated water and arranging for the transportation and disposal of waste for various projects. The agency requires routine spill cleanup responses to be performed during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, unless a forty-eight-hour response is triggered. Specific spill scenarios requiring urgent attention include those contaminating or threatening drinking water, surface water, sewers, food facilities, agricultural lands, or the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone, Contributing Zone, or Transition Zone. The agency also prioritizes spills in heavy public traffic areas, those causing significant public impact, and incidents involving extensive property damage or personal injury. Bidders must be onshore United States organizations to be eligible for this opportunity. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite over a contract period of two years. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. The agency will host a pre-bid meeting on June 04, 2026.
