Municipal Court Prosecutor Services

The City of Steamboat Springs, Colorado is seeking a part-time, contracted attorney or law firm to provide municipal court prosecutor and code enforcement services. The selected provider will conduct legal research, prepare and review legal documents, prosecute ordinance violations, and handle all matters arising from municipal court proceedings. This role requires close collaboration with the staff attorney, city attorney, city departments, law enforcement personnel, and other agencies to ensure consistent enforcement of city codes and ordinances. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency permits the performance of the contracted work to take place offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested parties. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 23, 2026.
