The Lakeland, Florida government authority is seeking a qualified legal services provider to advise on compliance with existing state and federal laws and to issue advisory memorandums regarding proposed and new legislation. The selected provider will deliver legal advice, counsel, consultation, and opinions in person, virtually, by telephone, in writing, or via email. Additionally, the scope of work requires the provider to counsel and participate in other legal affairs of interest to the operation, maintain knowledge of issues facing transit, and offer legal opinions. The agency requires the provider to prepare, review, consult on, and approve contracts and agreements on an as-needed basis while delivering customary legal services. The contract period will span three years, and the performance of the work will take place either onsite or offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this contract. Bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or online.
