Hospital Rate Setting Services

The Wisconsin government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive hospital rate setting services. The agency needs to solve the challenge of annually calculating inpatient rates using both fee-for-service hospital claims data and health maintenance organization encounter data. The selected vendor will receive, load, and analyze all agency and hospital data provided in electronic formats. The scope of work requires the vendor to secure all data at rest, in transit, and in use using the prescribed SSH File Transfer Protocol transmission mode. The agency requires active participation in periodic meetings with state and hospital staff to discuss parameters, priorities, methodology, and ongoing results throughout each rate cycle. The vendor must work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including agency management, Medicaid fiscal agents, hospital fiscal staff, and other Medicaid vendors. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The project allows for offsite performance of all required work. The agency is contracting these services for a two-year period and is currently looking for budget proposals. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or through the online portal.
