Building Administrator Systems

The Town of Lexington, Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to provide, manage, and service building administrator systems. The agency needs to ensure its integrated building systems operate fully and remain properly maintained, updated, and secure. To solve this, the selected contractor will oversee integrated systems operation, perform preventative maintenance, execute software and firmware updates, and manage software licenses. The scope of work covers servicing, repairing, upgrading, and replacing integrated building systems. The contractor must work collaboratively with the town's IT department to integrate these systems onto the Operational Technology network, which the vendor will also manage and service. Additionally, the work requires collaboration with other system vendors, including those handling lighting, electrical, fire alarm, and HVAC systems, to ensure complete system integration. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the contractor to perform the work offsite from the vendor's own office location. The town is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. The agency has scheduled a pre-bid conference for June 11, 2026.
