Energy Management Services

The Falmouth Public Schools district in East Falmouth, Massachusetts is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a comprehensive, performance-based energy management services project for two of its schools. The agency is trying to identify, quantify, and prioritize energy conservation, electrification, and renewable energy measures to reduce energy consumption and transition away from fossil fuels. To solve this problem, the agency requires a vendor to conduct detailed site assessments and an investment-grade audit for each school. The scope of work covers designing, engineering, and installing electrified space heating and domestic hot water systems, including geothermal systems and air-source heat pumps, along with any necessary distribution, ventilation, and controls modifications. The selected vendor must integrate and optimize building automation systems to manage all new and existing energy systems, including supervisory control, scheduling, and performance monitoring. Additionally, the project requires developing and implementing a measurement and verification plan consistent with state guidelines, alongside providing ongoing performance monitoring and potential maintenance services. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. Work may be performed either onsite in East Falmouth or offsite as appropriate for the project tasks. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget and will award a contract with a duration of three years. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for April 22, 2026.
