Background Check Services

The New York government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive background check services for project applicants and their principals. The agency requires these background checks to ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The selected vendor will solve the agency's need for thorough due diligence by investigating the financial and legal histories of applicants. The scope of work covers conducting internet searches for news and articles, PATRIOT Act searches, and criminal records checks. The agency also requires searches for bankruptcies, tax liens, judgments, Uniform Commercial Code filings, and credit reports. This offsite work must be performed over a contract period of three years. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency is accepting proposals digitally via email or online submission. The authority is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget.
