RFI for Offender Telephone Management System

The Correctional Service of Canada is seeking information from telecommunication and communication service providers capable of delivering an offender telephone management system. The agency requires a secure network management system utilizing an Internet Protocol and customizable business solution for inmates, secured immigration detainees, minors in custodial settings, or patients housed under mental health legislation in secure institutions. This system must provide independent, uninterrupted inmate telephone services and courtesy public telephone services that remain available at all times. The requested scope of work encompasses enhanced reporting and analytics, integrated payment and account management, and compatibility with tablets and kiosks. The solution must also support secure online payments and maintain all requirements necessary for the provider to operate as a licensed telecommunications carrier. The agency expects the performance of this work to occur entirely offsite. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to onshore Canadian organizations.
