Parade Planning Services

The City of Dallas, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive parade planning services. The agency needs to solve the challenge of executing a well-coordinated event while securing external funding to cover the full costs of planning and production. To achieve this, the selected vendor must identify sponsors and revenue generation opportunities through a strategic fundraising effort without significantly increasing participant entry fees. The scope of work requires the development of a detailed Parade Production plan outlining all personnel roles, parade staging, the parade route, and participant positioning. The vendor must also establish a communication plan for participants regarding arrival, start, and end times, alongside a staffing plan for event setup, production, and breakdown. Additionally, the agency requires a comprehensive program Evaluation Plan within the proposal to demonstrate the overall impact of the event. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. While the performance of the work will take place offsite, the agency is looking for bidders to propose their own budget and pricing structure for these services. The agency will host a pre-bid meeting on June 16, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 19, 2026.
