Third Party Inspection Services

The City of Casa Grande, Arizona is seeking a qualified consultant to provide third-party inspection services in support of Right-of-Way, Site Development, Public Improvement, and Capital Improvement Program projects. The agency requires technical expertise, inspection oversight, reporting, and coordination support to assist in the successful delivery and completion of infrastructure and development projects. The selected consultant will perform on-site and off-site construction inspections for roadway, utility, drainage, sewer, and other related infrastructure improvements. The scope of work includes inspecting and documenting construction progress of contractors and utility providers working in the city right-of-way, as well as verifying compliance with approved construction plans, technical specifications, permits, and City standards. The consultant must coordinate with City staff, contractors, developers, and utility providers to address field issues and ensure timely project completion. Additional responsibilities involve reviewing traffic control measures, documenting inspection activities, maintaining daily reports, tracking quantities, identifying deficiencies, and attending project meetings. The consultant must also act as the city inspector in the absence of city staff under the direction of the City Engineer. Eligible bidders must be located onshore within the United States. Although the performance of the work is designated as offsite, the tasks require active field inspections and coordination within the Casa Grande jurisdiction. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will award a contract for a one-year period.
