Staff Training and Family Engagement Services

The Housing Authority of New Orleans is seeking a vendor to provide staff training and family engagement services in New Orleans, Louisiana. The agency needs to solve the challenge of integrating and supporting immigrant families by improving their technology literacy and access to essential resources. The selected provider will facilitate workshops and deliver direct services to help these families navigate email setup, application submissions, document uploads, and resource searches. The scope of work also requires the vendor to educate immigrant families on their eligibility for critical services, including healthcare, nutrition, housing rights, legal counsel, early childhood access, and labor rights. Additionally, the agency requires training for school and contracted staff to deepen their understanding of the English Learner and immigrant experience within the specific context of New Orleans and Louisiana. This staff training must cover stressors unique to immigrant and first-generation students, such as migration, reunification, assimilation, xenophobia, and interrupted education. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based exclusively in the United States. The agency requires all contracted work and services to be performed onsite in New Orleans.
