Attorneys Service

The Town of Guttenberg, New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive attorney services. The selected vendor will deliver general counsel and litigation services as directed by the mayor, council, or other authorized municipal officials. The agency also requires the vendor to educate local tenants on federal, state, and municipal laws governing landlord and tenant rights and duties. To resolve these public information and legal needs, the vendor must distribute legal rights information specifically targeted to tenants. The scope of work includes writing and publishing information pamphlets, leaflets, or booklets regarding tenant and landlord rights. Additionally, the vendor must operate a dedicated hotline to advise tenants and organize workshops to help tenants organize and protect their rights. The agency requires the vendor to receive tenant complaints regarding municipal administrative actions or inactions and forward them to the appropriate town departments. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency specifies that the vendor will perform all work offsite. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine costs.
