The Calgary, Alberta government authority is seeking an executive search firm to recruit volunteer board members for its boards of directors. The agency needs a partner to develop targeted recruitment strategies, prepare advertisements, and actively search for applicants year-round. To solve its recruitment challenges, the agency requires a firm with experience in similar projects and access to databases focused on equity-deserving groups. The scope of work covers ongoing written reporting to the selection committee and conducting meetings to keep senior management, stakeholders, and the shareholder informed. The selected firm must set up interviews with short-listed candidates at an offsite location, vet applicants, and prepare a final list of well-qualified candidates. Responsibilities also include performing all reference checks, background checks, and personality testing. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Canada. The agency expects the performance of the work to take place offsite. Bidders can submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The contract period will span four years. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 19, 2026.
