Employment and Income Verification Services

The District of Columbia Housing Authority is seeking a vendor to provide reliable, accurate, and timely employment and income verification services. The agency needs these services to determine initial eligibility, continued program participation, rent calculations, interim re-examinations, and compliance with applicable regulations. To facilitate this, the agency will provide the contractor with participant and applicant names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, current and previous addresses, employer information, and other relevant identifying details. The scope of work requires the contractor to utilize legally authorized and industry-accepted methods and databases to verify current and historical employment, wages, salary, self-employment income when available, unemployment benefits, and other employment-related income sources. At a minimum, the contractor must verify and report current and previous employer names and addresses, dates of employment, employment status, job titles, and rates of pay. The resulting contract will span a performance period of five years, and the contractor will perform all work offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this procurement no later than June 16, 2026. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget and will accept bid submissions digitally via email or through their online portal.
