The City of Sanford, North Carolina, requires professional due diligence reporting services to assess a specific site or property. The agency is seeking to identify potential environmental, historical, and physical constraints before proceeding with development or acquisition. This comprehensive assessment will help the authority mitigate risks and understand the buildable limits of the land. The requested scope of work covers a variety of technical investigations and mapping tasks. The selected provider must conduct a boundary survey, a detailed stream delineation rather than a mere determination, and a title search culminating in a formal title opinion. Additionally, the agency requires a geotechnical report, a threatened and endangered species assessment, a historical and cultural review, and a detailed archaeological study. Visual deliverables must include a buildable area summary map and an existing utilities location map. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the analytical and reporting work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally, either via email or through the designated online portal. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project.
