Attorneys Service

The Town of Guttenberg, New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive attorney services. The selected vendor will deliver general counsel and litigation services as directed by the mayor, council, or other authorized municipal officials. The agency also requires the vendor to educate local tenants on federal, state, and municipal laws governing landlord-tenant rights and duties. To address these educational needs, the vendor must write, publish, and distribute information pamphlets, leaflets, or booklets regarding tenant and landlord legal rights. The scope of work also requires the vendor to operate a dedicated advice hotline for tenants. Additionally, the vendor must promote, sponsor, and organize workshops to disseminate information and assist tenants in organizing to protect their rights. The agency requires the vendor to receive complaints from tenants regarding municipal administrative actions or inactions and forward these issues to the appropriate town departments. To be eligible for this contract, bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency specifies that the performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost.
