Assessment and Master Plan Services

The City of Coronado, California, is seeking a vendor to provide assessment and master plan services for electric vehicle infrastructure. The agency needs to identify priority areas for new chargers, assess existing conditions, and map current public and private charging locations. To solve these planning needs, the agency requires a comprehensive master plan to install charging stations throughout the community, including city-owned facilities, rights-of-way, commercial areas, and multi-family residential zones. The scope of work covers conducting public and stakeholder outreach, which must include organizing one public meeting and creating an interactive online map for public site suggestions. The selected vendor must perform a quantitative needs assessment and gap analysis to generate a prioritized list of suggested charging sites, specifically highlighting top-priority, shovel-ready locations. All project work will take place offsite. Only organizations based onshore in the United States are eligible to compete for this contract. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from bidders. Clarification questions must be submitted to the agency no later than June 17, 2026.
