RFI for Mobile Document Shredding Service

The Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service, is seeking information to identify sources for mobile document shredding services at a government authority facility in Bloomfield, New Mexico. The agency needs to ensure the secure and confidential destruction of sensitive documents through on-site cross-cut shredding. Strip shredding is not acceptable to the agency. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide, deliver, and maintain three 95-gallon lockable security containers. The contractor must perform monthly on-site collection and shredding during normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding federal holidays. The agency plans for a contract period of one year. This opportunity is set aside for the Buy Indian Act program. Eligible contractors must perform the work within the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget.
