Public Finance Counsel Services

The City University of New York is seeking public finance counsel services to analyze the disposition of various university real estate properties. The agency needs legal opinions and guidance on structuring these real estate dispositions, specifically regarding the defeasance of tax-exempt financing. The selected counsel will also advise on how the university can use sale proceeds from properties that have tax-exempt financing. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in the United States. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has set a deadline of June 22, 2026, for the submission of all questions.
